PREFABRICATED VERTICAL DRAIN (WICK DRAIN)

PVD Wick Drains are generally used to accelerate soil consolidation and enhance the strength of soil layers in water-saturated sand, silt, and clay soils. They are produced from polyethylene raw material using the continuous extrusion method and are laminated with non-woven geotextile on both sides. The geotextile facilitates water permeability through filtration, while continuous polyethylene channels allow for water drainage. Wick drains can be used in all projects with water-saturated soil for rapid consolidation, saving time and costs in the projects they are used in.
